Effective July 1, 2026, Version 1.1. This Cookies Policy explains how **Epixel Software Private Limited** ("Terriqon", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on terriqon.com and within the Terriqon platform. This policy is effective **July 1, 2026** and is Version 1.1. It should be read alongside the [Privacy Policy](/security/privacy-policy). *** ## 1. What Are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that a website or application places on your device when you visit or use it. They allow the service to remember information about your visit — such as your login session or preferences — either for the duration of your browser session or for a longer period depending on the cookie type. Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting directly (first-party cookies) or by third-party services embedded in that site (third-party cookies). Similar technologies — including browser local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — can serve related functions. Where this policy refers to "cookies", it covers all such technologies unless otherwise specified. *** ## 2. Your Consent **Strictly necessary cookies** (Terriqon session, Cloudflare security cookies) are set without your consent because they are essential for the platform to operate. Without them, you would not be able to log in or use Terriqon. **Optional cookies** — Analytics (PostHog) and Functional/Support (Crisp) — are set only where you have provided consent. When you first visit terriqon.com, a cookie consent banner will explain these categories and ask for your preference. You may accept all, accept only strictly necessary, or customise your choices by category. Your preferences are stored and respected on subsequent visits. **Do Not Track (DNT):** Terriqon does not currently respond to browser-level "Do Not Track" signals. You can manage optional cookies directly through the consent banner or through browser settings as described in Section 5. *** ## 5. How to Manage or Disable Cookies ### Browser Settings All modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings menus. The following links provide guidance for common browsers: * **Google Chrome:** Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data * **Mozilla Firefox:** Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data * **Apple Safari:** Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data * **Microsoft Edge:** Settings → Cookies and site permissions Blocking all cookies will prevent Terriqon from functioning correctly. In particular, blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in. ### Provider-Level Opt-Outs You can opt out directly with individual providers as follows: * **PostHog (Analytics):** You can opt out of PostHog analytics tracking by visiting [posthog.com/privacy](https://posthog.com/privacy) or by declining the analytics category in the Terriqon consent banner. * **Crisp (Support Chat):** You can opt out of Crisp cookies by declining the Functional/Support category in the consent banner. Doing so will disable the in-app chat widget; you can still contact support by email at [support@terriqon.com](mailto:support@terriqon.com). * **Stripe (Payments):** Stripe's cookies during checkout are required to process payments securely. For more information about how Stripe handles your data, see [stripe.com/privacy](https://stripe.com/privacy). * **Cloudflare (Security):** Cloudflare's security cookies are strictly necessary for protecting the platform against bot traffic and abuse. For more information, see [cloudflare.com/privacypolicy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). ### What Happens If You Block Optional Cookies * **Blocking Analytics (PostHog):** The platform will continue to function normally. Terriqon will be less able to understand usage patterns, which may slow down our ability to prioritise improvements. * **Blocking Functional/Support (Crisp):** The in-app support chat widget will not load. Changes to This Policy Terriqon may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in our use of cookies, updates to third-party services, or changes in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and version number at the top of this page.
